The Reformation in Hungary Part 10, by James O'Fee - Impala Publishers Blog Page: "The city of Œdenburg [Sopron] played an important part in these events. The Reformation had taken early root there, as proved by the auto-da-fè of heretical books under Louis (Lajos) II i.e. before 1526, the year of the Battle of Mohács where King Louis died. In 1557 an Evangelical High School was established in Sopron. Several young men went to study in Wittenberg."
