Euros, or Dollars, or Gold, or - Blue Francs? - New Europe - WSJ: "More than hundred companies and businessmen have launched Hami European Cooperative to issue “blue francs” as a local currency in the Hungarian city of Sopron, near the Austrian border, borrowing the name from a local grape and also one of the region’s popular red wines, called “Kekfrankos”. The system, similar to a loyalty scheme, follows the examples of similar projects launched abroad, said national daily Nepszabadsag."
