Nine O'Clock

Nine O'Clock: "FC Steaua Bucharest has confirmed on its official website that Otelul Galati’s Bulgarian fullback Jivko Jelev has signed an 18-month contract with the club. In return, Steaua ceded midfielder Razvan Ochirosii to Otelul.

Jivko Jelev was born on July 23, 1979 in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, and started playing professional football at the age of 11 within the Beroe Stara Zagora club. At the start of the 2007-2008 season he signed for Otelul Galati, rapidly becoming one of the team’s main players. He played 73 games for Otelul and scored 7 goals. At international level he has 24 caps and 2 goals for Bulgaria’s U-21 football team, as well as 6 caps for Bulgaria’s national football team. After obtaining Razvan Ochirosii in return for Bulgarian fullback Jivko Jelev, Otelul announced on Wednesday that it has bought Serbian goalkeeper Branko Grahovac and Romanian striker Alin Cotan. Cotan, born on October 30, 1982, has signed an 18-month contract with the option to extend it for three more seasons. Cotan came to Galati as a player free of contract after he previously played for FC Bihor Oradea, Liberty Salonta, UTA Arad, Petrolul Ploiesti, Chimia Brazi and Hungary’s FC Sopron."
