Wines From Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia Gain a Following - WSJ.com: "Pfneiszl Soproni Kékfrankos
$15, Hungary
The Pfeneiszl estate, located in the Sopron region of Hungary, is owned by Birgit and Katrin, the Pfneiszl sisters (which sounds a bit like a musical duo). The label is Iron Curtain-era ugly but the wine inside is a very pleasant, light-bodied, Gamay-like red with a juicy, food-friendly acidity and earthy, spicy aromas."
