The finalists, chosen from 29 prize-winners from Europe's most prestigious cartoon fests over the past year, are Joseph Pierce's "A Family Portrait" (U.K.), Kaspar Jancis' "Krokodill" (Estonia), Francois Alaux, Herve de Crecy and Ludovic Houplain's "Logorama" (France), Anita Killi's "Sinna Mann" (Norway) and Johannes Nyholm's "The Tale of Little Puppetboy" (Sweden).
The winner will be announced in Sopron, Hungary, on Sept. 17, during the Magyar Cartoon Forum, a platform designed to boost the co-production and distribution of European animation for television.
