Richard Halverstadt: March 9/10, 2011: Parent/Teacher's Night: "Tomorrow I'll be going on a four day vacation since the school will have March 15th off (national holiday) and will take off Monday as well by having us teach Monday's classes the following Saturday. A fellow CETP teacher and I will go to Sopron, a small Hungarian village in the west, not far from Austria. I've heard that this village is very quaint and has quite an interesting historical background. For one thing, when the borders of Hungary were being adjusted for the Trianon Treaty (That's the treaty that ceded 2/3 of Hungarian land to its neighboring countries), they allowed the people of Sopron to decide if they would rather go to Austria or remain in Hungary.
