USA Basketball: "Following seven practices in Washington, D.C., Charles was selected as a member of the USA team that played in the 2009 Ekaterinburg International Invitational in Russia. In addition to the Russian professional team UMMC Ekaterinburg, also competing in the tournament were Euroleague professional teams MKB Euroleasing Sopron from Hungary and USK Praha from the Czech Republic."
